      SNR Sons Charitable Trust , a synonym for service was founded on 9-2-1970 by four sons of Sri S.N.Rangasamy Naidu, a great philanthropist and a man of vision. He was an ardent devotee of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and his interest in man was compelling as in god. His chief aspiration was to eradicate the root cause of all evils existing in the society through education. In order to make his dreams come true, his four sons whole-heartedly committed themselves to the great task of establishing many charitable and educational institutions.       Sevarathna, Dr.R.Venkatesalu Avl, the Managing Trustee of the SNR Sons Charitable Trust, with an enlightened self interest and sustained spirit of philanthropy started a women's institution, Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science for Women, in the year 1991 to uplift the position of women in the society. Under his able guidance of him and blessings from the other Managing Trustees, the institution has blazed a trial of achievements in the field of curricular and co-curricular activities.

      The Chief-Executive and the Secretary of the institution,
      Thiru S.Chandran, stands as the crucial pillar supporting the entire edifice. He supplies the institution with major developmental strength, innovative beneficial schemes etc.

      Dr. S. Saviithiri, is the principal of the college, whose academic interest and committed service has helped the institution to attain an unquestionable and an unassailable place in the field of education.
