DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

The department of Computer Science aim to provide a conducive environment for acquisition of IT knowledge as well as moral enhancement.

Department of Computer Science is as old as the college. Which offers two UG courses [B.Sc Computer Science(Two batches) and B.C.A] and PG Course [M.Sc Computer Science] and M.Phil Computer Science. The department has more than five hundred students and twenty two well experienced staff members..

DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVES

To achieve 85% university results in every semester.
To conduct one National Level Technical Symposium/State Level Technical Symposium in every academic year.
To conduct one Interclass competitions in department level and one interschool competitions in every academic year.

Interclass competitions are conducted every year
Every weekly, technical seminars are organised for UG and PG students by reputed institutions like Aptech, Kashyap Radiant, SSI, Tulwec, etc.,
Students are encouraged to participate in intercollegiate meets, seminars, workshops and technical exhibitions.
National and State Level Symposiums are conducted once a year.
Students make enthusiastic participation in social activities through NSS, YRC and Rotaract Clubs functioning in our college.

There are many university rank holders in both UG and PG courses.
